The Network License Dashboard is a web-based interface that offers a simple view into real-time usage of the protected software. Use the dashboard to monitor license usage, view license service logs and control license usage.
The files needed to run the network license service dashboard are located in [Agile.net Installation Directory]\NetworkLicenseServiceDashboard. The network license service dashboard can be run locally by running [Agile.net Installation Directory]\NetworkLicenseServiceDashboard\content\index.html directly. Alternatively, to allow remote access from any other machine install it as a web application on IIS or any other web server.
The connect to a license service screen allows you to specify the hostname and port of the Network License Service installed on your customer's network. Once you've completed typing the hostname and port settings click connect to logon to the dashboard.
After you connect to the Network License Service Dashboard all named product features and their usage data are displayed. Click on View Details button to retrieve information about the network clients currently using a product feature.
On occasion users will check out a license and forget to check it in, or the machine their license was checked out to becomes inoperable. A network admin can force a checked out license to return it to the license pool.
To force a license to check in:
Access to the Network License Service logs is managed by the Log screen, the network license service logs all activity to local storage. The Network License Service Dashboard lets you view log information remotely from any machine on the network.
The Network License Dashboard collects license usage data and provides software publishers with a centralized, easy to use tool for reporting on usage.
